Following an epic UpRise Festival close to a crazy Summer, Lyrix Organix returns to our home of Old Queens Head, headlined by the bewitching winner of Harlem Apollo’s famous Amateur Night, Ayanna Witter-Johnson. If you haven’t seen her before… you’re in for a real Lyrix-style aural treat.
In support will be enigmatic poet Josh Idehen (Benin City, fresh from his critically-acclaimed dance album with LV), female beatboxer Grace Savage, and dramatic Folk harmonies from All The Queens Ravens (who will be launching their long-awaited EP). This promises to be another classic, intimate, firecracker of a show!
This is a special fundraiser for Medecins Sans Frontieres’ “MSF Delivers” appeal for mid-wives in DR Congo, who are currently screening stunning 3D photo films about the campaign.
