We’re launching our LYRIX ORGANIX: RELAY summer tour (in conjunction with Showtime, London 2012 Festival) with a huge bang… on July 1st at a beautiful new venue! May I present to you the ‘Out The Blocks’ Sunday micro-festival launch party…

Lyrix Organix reimagines The Yard Theatre as an explosive hub of spoken word, live music, beatbox, DJ’s, live street art, photography, talks and film. One-off, one day and one aim – to push the boundaries of lyrical performance at one of London’s most exciting art spaces. We’re particularly excited by The Kings Will and Ayanna (Witter-Johnson)’s headline slots!

The Courtyard epicentre will see the launch of a genre-defying outdoor tour production, ‘Lyrix Organix: Relay’, that was commissioned by the Mayor of London for Showtime – part of the London 2012 festival. This launch event will immerse audiences in a 360 degree journey across the UK’s finest poetry, live music, live art, talks and short films – including award-winning documentary ‘We Are Poets’.
All profits will be donated to human rights charity Restless Beings.
